Distrowatch has reviewed Kubuntu derivative distro Netrunner. Netrunner drops all the KDE idealism of Kubuntu and adds a range of popular software including Skype, Wine and Steam. The review covers the Netrunner website for having the perfect balance of explaining how it works with not being overbearing in technical details. It covers some of the more experimental addons put into Netrunner including JacknJoe and Web Accounts.
We are very pleased to have derivative distributions made from Kubuntu. As Kubuntu is Free Software anyone can make a derivative distribution without need of a licence (as long as obvious uses of the trademark are removed). Any suggestion that a licence might be needed is incorrect.
